What type of board bag should I get?

I have a newish 6′2 Fish (well It actually looks like a shortboard with a fish tail) thruster. Today, while taking it out the door,my leash caught on the door and the door smacked my surfboard resulting in 2 cracks near the tail. One is about an inch long and was rough so I sanded it and put Solarez on it. The other is about 2 1/2 inches long and looks like a spider crack but is not in a circle. near the edge of my surfboard. But, it is still smooth so i think it is watertight. I put a bit of Solarez on top just in case. Do you think that will do the job? I figured out today i need a boardbag. Should i get one that is like 6′4 so i have room in there for a towel. Also, what is the best bag for around 40-50 dollars?

Most board bags are a bit longer and have extra room in them. For example, a 6′3″ board bag would be a little longer than a 6′3″ board so it would give it a little extra room. So you should get a 6′2″ board bag because it will fit and give you a little extra room too. A dakine day time board bag is good for the $52. You will have extra room for a towel in a 6′2″ board bag.
