MAUI SURFING LOCATIONS

I’m trying to find a descent deal on accomodations in Maui and Kauai for August, any recommendations?

Looking for a deal in a good location for our honeymoon. Something on a nice beach, maybe near surfing area. Which beach or area’s are better in Maui and Kauai? thanks.

We have been to Kauai twice, Maui once, and Oahu just for the day. I am absolutely in LOVE with Kauai. The north shore is the most beautiful place on earth. Stay in the Hanalei/Princeville area and you will not regret it. You have to hike the Kalalau Trail – or just the trail to the waterfall. It doesn’t feel like exercise at all. Nothing on Maui or the south shore of Kauai compares to the north shore of Kauai. As for lodging – we always stay at the Hanalei Bay Resort – beautiful – but if you have a large family you will get more for your money at The Cliffs or another resort.
