BUYING SURFBOARD INFO

Bought a used surfboard and it says “Seven 13 Boardz” but I can’t find any info on this company! Help?
Just wanna know if I got a good deal- and what they sell for new. It is a 6.0 board and we got it for $100 with fins, grip pad and leash….what do you think???
Well, I don’t know too much about you. I don’t know how old, how big or how experienced you are. I don’t know where you surf. I don’t know how much you can afford to pay for a surfboard, or how many times a week(month, year) you surf.
So, that’s makes my answer have to be sort of generic.
It is impossible to buy a good surfboard for $100.00. I have been surfing since 1966 and I have had dozens of boards (new ones, used ones, custom made ones), and I haven’t bought a board for $100.00 since about 1969. Does that give you an idea that you probably didn’t get a “Primo” surfboard.
Now, if all you have is $100.00, and that surfboard floats you well enough for you to paddle an catch a wave, and you can ride it. It is certainly better than NO SURFBOARD. However, if you plan to get the whole summer out of it, before it de-laminates or rots out, you may be taking a chance.
It would have been better to save your money, and buy decent used board. But, like I said, it is far better than NO BOARD, so i wish you the best of luck with it.
